John began playing drums in his mid twenties, following in his father's footsteps as a musician. His father, a professional jazz bass player was his inspiration.
John started out playing traditional drums working his way through many bands until his passion for the sound of percussion and the arrival of House Music took him down a new path.
Having grown up in London John decided to leave his job, taking six months out to attend London's Drumtec in Acton to follow his dream of playing drums. He studied under Drumtecs founder Francis Seriau, together with Paul Elliot, Richard Beasley (drummer Gary Newman) and Laurie Jenkins (drummer Candy Flip).
After completing six months full time study at Drumtec John moved to Bournemouth and began gigging on the south coast. John now has over twenty years experience playing percussion alongside accomplished Artists & House Music DJs.
He has performed numerous venues all over the UK aswell as overseas.
Playing percussion at festivals, concerts, lounge bars, night clubs, corporate parties, fashion shows, weddings and recorded on radio. John has also worked with for two well known artists in the studio recording percussion for their forthcoming tracks.

2014 John was filmed on the video for the single 'Waiting for the Stars' for artist Angel Mckenzie and her band Scar.
